graduated Katharine Gibbs School in New York City and began her career as a Line Manager’s secretary for a large, French cosmetic company in New York. There she worked along side the Art Department, Marketing Department, Advertising Department and Cosmeticians as products were created, packaging, and introduced to the public. After taking time at home to raise her family, she returned to work as a legal secretary for a law firm in Litchfield County. There she was asked to decorate her front office giving her an occasion to express her style and creativity. And she was also able to utilize her business, organizational and people skills while working at the law office.
After many years of decorating her own home and the homes of her family, friends and neighbors, she decided to make a career of doing what she loves best—beautifying her environment and the surroundings of others.
She then began her career in interior decorating, redesign and real estate staging in 2006 after receiving a certificate from the School of Redesign in Brookfield, CT. She also attended Sheffield School of Design in New York City.
In 1992 she co-chaired the half-million dollar church renovation at Collinsville Congregational Church with responsibility for design and decorating. In the last two years she led the renovation and redecorating of the church’s prayer room and library.
Currently, she lives with her husband, Ken, and their German Shepherd, Neike, who is a Registered Certified Therapy Dog. She is the mother of three grown children, is a freelance writer and had a weekly decorating column in the Torrington Register Citizen.
Judy delights in helping people and is involved in her local church and community. She and Neike visit their local nursing home where they bring cheer and friendship to the residents and staff.
She would like to share her enthusiasm and expertise with you and create a home that reflects your personality, taste, and style—all within your budget.

She continues her education by attending seminars and classes at IRIS and ADE along with personal enrichment classes at the local colleges.
